About Us
We're Lisa Levinson and Stacey Bazak, daughters of the late Garry Levinson, and we have taken over the reigns of Garry’s Deli since our father passed away in 2003. Our mother, Rhonda Levinson, is there everyday too, helping wherever she can and personally overseeing the daily working of the restaurant.
Rhonda and Garry first opened Garry’s Deli in 1977 at the corner of Jefferson and Sinclair in the north end of Winnipeg. Years later, Garry had the opportunity to move his business downtown so he jumped at the chance, and the deli has become one of downtown’s famous landmarks in Winnipeg Square.
All of the soups at Garry’s Deli are homemade and can be traced back to over 30 years ago when Harry Levinson, Garry’s father helped out in the kitchen as well.
As you can see, the family tradition at Garry’s Deli is still very prominent and we hope to carry on that tradition for many more years to come!!!
